Wood is the mode of sprouting, reaching, planning, and directional emergence.
Generating relationship
Wood provides fuel for flame. Symbolically, growth and emergence may culminate in expression, heat, and radiance.

Earth is placed after Fire as a ripening, nourishing, integrating season.
